- Create SMART goals (to be reviewed at your mid-clerkship feedback meeting)
- Meet with IM coach to set expectations and refine goals
- Program conference and meeting reminders into your phone
- Keep discharge phone log (submit week 8)
- Sign up for reflective writing session (submit week 8)
- Sign up for oral presentation practice (optional)
- Attend peer feedback session and give feedback
- Review write-ups as needed for feedback
- Schedule a mid-clerkship feedback meeting with Dr. Harrell/Nall or with Dr. Sottile if your first 4 weeks were in Jacksonville. Bring SMART goals and a write up for feedback to this meeting.
- Arrange formative feedback with team members first 4 weeks (only a summary, not form, is submitted)
- Arrange formative feedback with team members second 4 weeks (submit summary)
- Review your physical examination checklist and seek help by week 5 if you are having trouble completing
- Complete and upload minimum one mini-CEX-Hx (submit scanned form)
- Complete and upload minimum one mini-CEX-PE (submit scanned form)
- Complete minimum 8 Aquifer Internal Medicine Cases (automatically documented, you do not need to submit proof of completion.)
- Complete required HVC modules 1 and 5 (automatically documented – both required and any optional ones you choose; you do not need to submit proof of completion.)
- Log patient presentations (12 are REQUIRED. You have to log, not automated)
- Turn in physical exam checklist to Ms. Pipkins (week 8)
- End of rotation make sure only 4 best, HIPAA compliant write-ups are submitted in the zip file for grading. Due last day of clerkship at midnight.
Bolded items are clerkship requirements that should be submitted in a zip file to Ms. Pipkins by midnight the final day of the clerkship. Nothing needs to be submitted in CANVAS
